About Dog Blog

i am kate. i live in williamsburg. i like dogs. i teach high school… which, i think, is sort of like training dogs.  i don’t train dogs at the moment but i promise to let you know that if i ever do, i will divulge all  similarities of high school teaching and dog training.

but ok.

this blog is not about how to train dogs, or how to take care of dogs, or where to find dogs, or where to buy things for dogs, or where to take your dogs for doggy-daycare here in williamsburg. because i dont care about those kinds of things. this blog is simply me, kate, taking pictures of dogs on the streets of new york city and posting them up here for you to see. because hopefully: YOU LIKE DOGS!  i might ask the dogs’ owners some questions, but probably not, unless they are especially interesting looking, which they probably won’t be, because this isn’t a blog about interesting people. this is a blog about dogs. because I LIKE DOGS!

you should know that i do not dog-discriminate. this means you will find any and all dog types on this blog. so if you are offended by any sort of particular dog breed or cross-breed, this is your fair warning.  hopefully, there will be a lot of scruffy dogs and fluffy dogs and fat dogs and drooly dogs and snorty dogs and curly-haired dogs and short-legged dogs and long-legged dogs and three-legged dogs and funny looking dogs and scrappy dogs and handsome dogs and beautiful dogs and amazing dogs and magical dogs. and the best part is they’re all for you! and me. but mostly you! or me?
